Finding Fanny' out soon as book

The dashingly hot duo Deepika Padukone-Arjun Kapoor quirky comedy film Finding Fanny, is all set for a theatrical release. But not everybody knows that the screenplay of the film Finding Fanny was adapted from a novel by the film's co-writer. The 200-page novel is soon expected to be out in next year.

“My co-writer, Kersi Khambatta, wrote the novel based on my short story of Finding Fanny Movie Reviews, and then we used that to develop the screenplay. My only issue was that I told him to keep the book on ice until the film was out,” says director Homi Adajania .“Now that it is releasing soon, Kersi can pimp the novel to publishers. It’s a funny read, and way more convoluted than the script,” he added.

Two years after the film that hit the box office Cocktail, director Homi Adajania is back with bang and a idiosyncratic misadventure; this time about a dappled crew looking for a postman's lost love through Goa. The Hindi and English versions of Finding Fanny will hit the theatres on September 12, across India and in various 40 international territories, which form the exodus markets targeted by most main stream Bollywood films.  The film makers believe that Homi Adajania, the director has made a outstanding global film that will be accepted in any market. "The difference between the two versions is just three-four minutes and not a complete re-edit. This English version will be cut by Nick Moore to cater to that audience," Director Homi Adajania said in a statement."It's the same story but will be told in a way that the firangs understand better," he added.

The English and Hindi versions of Finding Fanny will hit theatres Sep 12. The film Finding Fanny is presented by Fox Star Studios, and there also are plans to set the film out in a separate edited version of Finding Fanny in non-exodus markets – Europe, the US and the Far East - three to four months after its September release.  Moore has directed impressive and outgoing films like Wild Child (2008) and Horrid Henry: The Movie (2011) but is better known as the editor of The Full Monty (1997) which bagged him a BAFTA nomination, Notting Hill (1999), About A Boy (2002) and Love Actually (2003).

Finding Fanny is a forthcoming Hindi/English satirical, drama film, written and directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films baner and presented by Fox Star Studios. The film Finding Fanny features Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor in prominent roles. The film is based on an adventurous road trip set in Goa and links and follows the journey of five characters. The film is scheduled for release on 12 September 2014.

Finding Fanny Reviews revolves around the main five rather lost and dysfunctional characters that live in the whimsical sleepy village of Pocolim, dwelled deep in the interiors of Goa, India. Pocolim is a village where pointless and stupid conversations are a way of life feeding the life of the people. Nothing ever realistic happens here and the people of Pocolim, well, they just exist for the sake of it. One night, the old postman Ferdie , character played by Naseeruddin Shah, receives a letter that is slipped under his door. He then realizes that it was the letter he had written to the love of his life 46 years ago, Stefanie Fernandes character played by Anjali Patil, asking for her hand to marry her. To his utter shock and dismay, he discovers that had the letter had never been delivered. All these years the post man Ferdie has lived a life of regret, believing that his love Stefanie had rejected him. He then decides to find his beloved Fanny and tell her the truth. The movie Finding Fanny is a comical story and an off the wall story about a bunch of oddities who venture out to find this girl Stefanie Fernandes (Fanny) and in the process, they discover a unique and strange sense of love and solace amongst each other, and end up seeing a point back to their previously dull and pointless lives.

Second poster of 'PK' is now out

The second poster of 'PK' is now out! Actor Aamir Khan is in a fully-clothed avatar in the second poster and looks like the makers are trying to hush the rumors away.

In the earlier poster of the movie actor Aamir Khan was seen posed nude with a strategically placed boom box. This stirred a lot of controversy and also fumed some people who claimed that the poster was vulgar. P.K also PeeKay is an upcoming satirical Bollywood movie directed by Rajkumar Hirani of Munnabhai series and 3 Idiots fame and is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, and Aamir Khan. PeeKay features Aamir Khan in the titular role, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput , Sanjay Dutt and Ram Sethi in other significant roles. Aamir Khan is seen in a unique and unusual avatar to play the title role. The movie is a satire on Gods and their God men which is a common factor in India and seen almost everywhere. The movie was scheduled to release on December 25, 2013 but due to delays in the filming schedule, the release date has been pushed back to an undetermined 2014 release.

Aamir is rumored to essay the role of an alien who lands on earth accidently and the PK movie takes off from there. Aamir has been spotted wearing womanly clothing in the film which might hint on the fact that aliens do what they see as they don't know human behavior much well, now that’s really unique!. Aamir is known to be the Perfectionist to everybody and is not a new fact. His perfectionism reaches new heights be it building an 8 pack abs for the film Ghajini or spending some time in the IIT campus to get into the skin of the character Ranchoddas Chanchad in the movie 3 Idiots. If rumors are to be believed Aamir has yet again stayed true to his perfectionist image and has apparently enacted a scene where he is supposed to go completely nude with no piece of clothing on his body without hiring a body double to maintain the authenticity of the scene.  For the execution of that particular scene minimum crew were present and all gadgets like phones, camera, pen drive, laptops were strictly prohibited.

Anushka Sharma is the one aspect of the movie that seems to interest many as maybe either P.K or Bombay Velvet might be the movies where we first get to see her infamous lip surgery which she has famously denied on a popular chat show! The movie also sees the reunion of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and T-Series head Bhushan Kumar.

There is also a wide speculation about why majority of Aamir Khan's movies release somewhere around the end of years. Its believed that Aamir Khan finds Christmas Eve auspicious for his major movies as the movies that have released around Christmas has easily went on to become major blockbusters not to mention the mere presence of Aamir Khan in a movie also raises the standard and audience turnout several notches higher! Now that’s the Aamir Khan effect! It is not only just Aamir Khan who believes in auspiciousness of a festival to release his film, actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan usually and most of the time block the Diwali and Eid dates for the release their films. Certainly, nobody wants to mess with the Khans!

Habib Faisal Serve Daawat e Ishq Movie this September

Daawat-e-Ishq is an upcoming Bollywood movie with an element of romance. This film stars Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles. The film depicts the romance that takes place between individuals belonging to different cultures. In this film Parineeti plays the role of a Hyderabadi girl while Arjun Roy Kapur plays the role of a Lucknowi boy. The trailers and posters of this film promise to give us the filmy romance we have always loved to watch on-screen. Bollywood fans are in for a romantic treat with this film.
In this film Arjun plays the character of a boy from Lucknow. In the film, he plays the character of a chef by profession and serves people with mouth watering food. Parineeti plays the character of a girl from Hyderabad. She plays the role of a shoe sales girl that happens to fall in love with the chef from Lucknow. In the trailer we see that these two characters fall in love with each other without realizing so. They start to exchange interests and get to know each other better; in this we understand that the love between them is sweet. Later in the trailer we see that they get closer to each other as the intimacy increases. In this we get to know that they share a spicy kind of love. Towards the end of the trailer we see that the love between them gets bitter. The reason for this is yet unknown and we have to wait for the story to unveil itself as Daawat-e-Ishq hits the cinema halls on the 5th of September.

Both Aditya and Parineeti came as guests on the show, which without doubt has set itself to be an eye catching one, The Daawat-e-Ishq actor wore a stunning  ink-blue dress on Kaun Banega Crorepati 8 Parineeti Chopra wore a peplum style blue dress to promote Daawat-E-Ishq onKaun Banega Crorepati. The blue dress is from DKNY’s Spring 2014 collection. Pari topped the dress with a heavy chunky statement necklace by. She finished out the look with black sexy  booties by Steve Madden.The outfit was added up completed with an almost retro hairstyle and smokey eye make-up. We like Parineeti’s decision to opt for a bright pink lip as it goes really well with the tone of the dress,and promoted their film. Mr. Bachchan even went on twitter and expressed his gratitude. “On KBC… the effervescent and hugely talented Parineeti Chopra along with Aditya Roy Kapur for Daawat- e-Ishq Movie their film,” he tweeted. Daawat-e-Ishq starrer Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor were at their best while shooting with megastar Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of the forthcoming season of reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).  While KBC is scheduled to start on August 17, the Yashraj production Daawat-e-Ishq is scheduled to release on September 5th. The film is directed by Habib Faisal after his mesmerising Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade. Being called as a ‘Delicious Romance’, the film brings Aditya and Parineeti together for the first time. Anupam Kher also plays a prominent character the movie. Let’s hope the short comings are all happy for the film and of course for KBC as well.


The film ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ is supposed to release on the 5th of September this year. This will release on the same day as ‘Mary Kom’, which is a biopic on a famous boxing champion who won laurels at the Olympics starring Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra. It will be interesting to watch which one of these talented cousins wins the fight at the box-office. We are yet to see f the film offers us just another romantic tale or whether it serves us a fresh concept. From the trailer, we can predict that this film will offer us typical Bollywood romance mixed with ultra filmy dialogues.

Aamir Khan finally got clothes

The posters of forthcoming film "PK" showing Bollywood’s superstar Aamir Khan virtually nude finally got some clothes here Saturday.

Vile Parle Congress legislator Krishna Hegde 'dressed' up the actor's poster and a cutout before a very large number of people who cheered and clapped their approval.

Terming the actor's posters as "distasteful and against Indian culture," Hegde formally 'clothed' Aamir in the poster in a very bright green pair of shorts and a grey tee-shirt.

"Aamir Khan is a good actor and hosts the program Satyameva Jayate. These posters are distasteful and against Indian culture. They create a negative impression in the minds of families and youngsters who consider him an icon," Hegde said at the symbolic event.

He urged Aamir Khan to immediately withdraw this objectionable 'nude presentation' on the movie "PK" posters, which "has crossed limits."

However, he clarified that the intention was not at all  to indulge in moral policing but to send a message that such posters are not required for publicity for an acclaimed actor like Aamir.

Aamir (49) had termed the controversial poster a "key art", depicting the storyline of the movie made by Rajkumar Hirani.

Defending it, Aamir had said, "When you people (audience) will watch the film then only you will be able to understand the idea behind (the poster). But I would just like to say that the kind of filmmaker, the kind of writer Rajkumar is, he always strives to present the things, his thinking, in a unique way and that's why I am his huge fan."

Amir khan who is  very well known for his perfection, fondly denoted as Mr. Perfectionist  has landed himself into some serious trouble  with his upcoming movie poster of pk. PK Movie is an upcoming comedy-drama film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur.

It stars Mr. Allrounder aka Mr. perfectionist  Aamir Khan as the eponymous lead, with the hot  Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt appearing in supporting roles. Hirani has stated that the film will be a satire on "God and godmen". The whole nation was taken by surprise after the ‘first look’ of Aamir Khan’s film PK, showing him doing a full monty, posing almost nude when released recently. The poster in question shows the actor in his birthday suit with just a transistor strategically carried by him to cover his bare minimum essentials. The repercussions of the ‘almost nude’ Aamir Khan, not just surprised and shocked everyone, but also sent the social media in frenzy. Well, the other ‘repercussion’ of Aamir Khan’s look was felt when a lawyer moved court against Aamir and a Hindi daily for publishing an ‘obscene’ poster of his  film. The lawyer alleged that the film’s poster published would incite ‘sexual violence’ and encourage ‘obscenity’. The Court of ACMM G K Bharti had set August 7 as the next date of hearing.

Besides Aamir, the movie - slated for a December release - features Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.

Billu Barber Review - Shahrukh Khan, Irfan Khan,Lara Datta

Billu Barber is a story of a simple ordinary man who led an extra ordinary life. Bilas Rao Pardesi (Irrfan Khan) was living in his village with his wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta) and two great kids. Life was bitter sweet... we can say more sweet than bitter.But his business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends.

One day a superstar came into their lives and everything changed. A film unit visits his village to shoot a movie. It stars a superstar Sahir Khan (Shahrukh Khan), who was once Billu's school friend.All at once, Billu's status in the village changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar.But Billu is unsure, as he feels he cannot match the superstar's status. Besides, he fears that the star may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star, but fails. After all these hardships, he gives up.

But people think that Billu lied about the relationship with the star and start insulting him. His family and children also gets upset.

The movie has cameo appearances by Kareena Kapoor , Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra .

Directed by Priyadarshan , the movie stars Irrfan Khan , Lara Dutta , Asrani , Rajpal Yadav , Om Puri supported by Shahrukh Khan in a brief role.

The movie is set to release on 13th February.

Dostana (2008) Movie Review Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra

The story of 'Dostana' revolves around Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan), Kunal (John Abraham) and Neha (Priyanka Chopra). Sameer and Kunal are desperately looking for an apartment in Miami and are turned down by the landlady, the reason being her young and very sexy niece Neha. She doesn't want Neha living, and in turn getting spoiled, with two bachelors. After much deliberation, Sameer and Kunal manage to get a single plan in their head - that they will act as gay lovers.

With the intention of putting their plan into action, they again meet the landlady, telling her of their 'relationship'. Relieved of her worries, she allows them to stay with Neha. The days that follow their moving into the apartment, with Neha, are full of 'masti', 'mazaa' and loads of adventure, thrill and laughter. As expected, the 'gay' tenants fall in love in Neha, who is also being pursued by Abhimanyu (Bobby Deol). Abhimanyu is none other than Neha's boss. If you want to know what happens after that, buy the ticket for 'first day, first show' of 'Dostana'.
