The story of 'Dostana' revolves around Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan), Kunal (John Abraham) and Neha (Priyanka Chopra). Sameer and Kunal are desperately looking for an apartment in Miami and are turned down by the landlady, the reason being her young and very sexy niece Neha. She doesn't want Neha living, and in turn getting spoiled, with two bachelors. After much deliberation, Sameer and Kunal manage to get a single plan in their head - that they will act as gay lovers.With the intention of putting their plan into action, they again meet the landlady, telling her of their 'relationship'. Relieved of her worries, she allows them to stay with Neha. The days that follow their moving into the apartment, with Neha, are full of 'masti', 'mazaa' and loads of adventure, thrill and laughter. As expected, the 'gay' tenants fall in love in Neha, who is also being pursued by Abhimanyu (Bobby Deol). Abhimanyu is none other than Neha's boss.
